Often times, federal contract work gets a bad rep and there are certain stressors that you don't typically face when working with the general public. They usually have very tight deadlines and expectations are high.

 

There are some advantages to  having the United States of America as a one of your clients. Negotiations aren't as uncomfortable as with a small shop owner. Money is never an issue or even a thought on either side. You know they are good for it and they offer a fair amount for your services. Also, if we are ever in a recession , the government tends to spend more to try and boost the economy, and you are at the top unlike the rest of the Nation who has to wait for it to start and trickle down.
